Billing & top-up
Add SMS to your binds by card, priced per bind.
Each SMPP bind carries an SMS balance that is consumed as you send. You can top it up yourself, instantly, by card.
How pricing works
Every bind has a price per SMS (in USD), set per country. When you top up, the amount you pay converts to SMS at that bind's current price:
SMS added = amount paid ÷ price per SMS
The rate is locked at the moment you pay, so you always know exactly how many SMS a payment buys.
Top up by card
- Log in to smpp.esmsafrica.io
- Open Top up (or the Top up button on any bind under My Credentials)
- Choose the bind, enter how many SMS to add, and review the cost
- Click Pay with card and complete checkout
- Your bind's balance updates automatically once payment is confirmed
Payments are processed securely by Paystack. Cards are charged in USD.
Confirmation
- If you return to the portal after paying, your balance updates immediately.
- If you close the tab, the balance updates automatically within a few minutes - no payment is ever lost.
Every top-up is listed with its status (paid / pending / failed) under Top up.
Checking your balance
- In the portal: your balance shows on the dashboard and on each bind.

When a bind's balance runs low, the account owner is emailed automatically so you can top up before running out.
