SMS is billed per message based on the destination country. Prices are deducted from your prepaid wallet.

Pricing notes

• Prices are per SMS segment (160 characters for GSM-7, 70 for Unicode)
• Messages longer than one segment are charged per segment
• Pricing is subject to change - always check the API for current rates
• Wallet balance is checked before sending - if insufficient, the message is rejected

Sender ID fees

Registering a sender ID has a separate per-country fee, charged only when the request is approved: USD 150 one-time (covers all networks) in Cameroon, Djibouti, Egypt, Ghana, Somalia and Tanzania; per-network fees in Kenya and Uganda; confirmed during onboarding elsewhere. Two-Way SMS

Two-Way SMS (short codes) has a USD 100 setup fee and USD 50 monthly maintenance per service, and per-SMS prices at the country's Basic SMS rate unless a custom price is set. See Two-Way SMS commercials.
